More Fishin'
Our First Fishing trip
Spring Break in Idaho
We took the family to Twin Falls for spring break, to visit Uncle Gary and Aunt Marcia. We had a lot of fun, avoiding the wind and rain, and we weren't prepared for it to be quite so cold, but we all had a really good time. Courtney's favorite thing was everything, Zach's was going fishing, Tyler's was the Easter egg hunt, Kenzie's was running the dogs on the 4 wheeler, and I think that Jared's favorite part was helping out with the cows and castrating a few of them. (No that was not a typing error, I really think that was his highlight. I enjoyed just hanging out without a busy schedule, and we got to see some friends that had moved away. The Pope family, it was good to catch up on old times and a few new ones.
This is Shoshone Falls, it was so windy and cold that we only got out for a few minutes, apparently they don't usually have this much water flowing, so we picked the right time to go. We enjoyed Kenzie as we were leaving, she repeated the following over and over again, "Bye Bye Waterfalls, I love you waterfalls, see you in a minute waterfalls." I thought she was going to drive everyone crazy. She later did the same thing when we went to feed the cows.
The kids had to swipe a few hats and extra sweat shirt because the wind made it really cold. But they sure looked cute.
