Cool Shades!

It is so nice to have friends that watch out for us and our kids. A friend of ours is an eye doctor, and he noticed what he thought could be a problem with Kenzie's eyes. It turned out to be nothing at all, but he took time out of his schedule to check, and Kenzie got to come home with a new pair of these designer glasses. (Available anywhere your eyes are checked, and free with a doctors eye exam!)

Stitches!!!

Our first bloody experience requiring a doctors attention. Tyler was having a shower and slipped and split his chin open. He was so brave he whimpered a little but not much. He didn't even flinch when they put the shot in to numb it. He lay perfectly still while his mom tried not to throw up watching. Only four stitched were needed, and three days later he has all ready pulled out two of them, I hope we don't have to have it restitched. He thought the blue stitches were really cool, but his big brother continually tells him how ugly they are. His school teacher calls him Mr. Whiskers, because he looks like he has a small beard. Note to all who know this child, it in no way shape or form slowed him down for a minute!
