Funny Stuff About the Kids

While trying to figure out if Kenzie had said Burp or Poop, at the table, Courtney and Zach were discussing the main differences. Courtney then informed us that one is a solid and the other is a gas. She then informed us that she needed to use the bathroom, and it would indeed be a solid.

Zach loves to tell jokes and his current favorites are:
What does CAR start with?
*the answer is not the letter C, a car starts with a KEY.
Also, Where does a chicken go to rent movies?
*BOCKBUSTER

Kenzie has such a funny personality, and she loves to tease, especially her Grandpa. He was showing her some pictures and she thought one was an apple, so she said apple, he said no it's a mushroom and went on to the next picture, which was a person, and again she said apple. He said no, it's Tyler, the next picture he flipped to she got a twinkle in her eye and again said apple. Now whenever she sees him, the first thing she does is say apple, which he always replies not an apple, and the game continues.

Tyler asked me who was driving the kindergarten carpool, and when I told him it would be Sheila he asked if she would be driving her Dodge Ram Heavy Duty Truck, I answered Yes, why? He replied that it felt like being in Heaven in her truck. I laughed and again asked why? He replied as only Tyler would, because I'm up so high!

Kids Play

This last week was crazy. Courtney and Tyler tried out for the play "Rumpelstiltskin" and they both made it. Practices every day from 4-8:30 Tuesday through Friday, and on Saturday they had to be at the school for dress rehearsal starting at 11:00 and a show following that at 3:00, then another show at 7:00. It was funny to watch Tyler in the show all dressed up like a Bee, he was so tired I thought he was going to fall on the floor. Courtney was a Boastful Villager, and they both did a great job.
Jared also had to work three nights this last weekend, and I just hope that he never has to do that again, throw in no sleep, a sick 18 month old, and the primary program, and we are hoping this week is much slower.

Our Family

This is Jared and Erin Stoker and our family. Our four kids Courtney, Zach, Tyler, and Kenzie. We have been in Tooele for the last six years and really enjoy it. It is small enough to have that small town feel and yet big enough that not everyone knows all of your business.
We like to camp, go on road trips, play games, tease each other and laugh a lot.
Courtney is our oldest and in the fifth grade this year. She is such a great help to us. She is a really good student, and loves to read. She also plays the piano, likes to sing and is going to try out to be in a play this week.
Zach is our joker, he loves to tell jokes and make people laugh. But when he starts laughing watch out it's contagious. He enjoys school, riding his bike, he plays the piano, but we aren't sure how much he enjoys it though, and he loves creating things.
Tyler just started Kindergarten this year and he loves everything about it, it also helps that nine kids from our ward are in his class. He loves life and he questions everything, he almost knows more about our car than I do, and most of all he loves his baby sister.
Kenzie is eighteen months old and is walking and running everywhere. She loves to be outside and have the older kids pull her in the wagon. She hops in and says "faster" and the faster they go the more she likes it. She is talking all the time, and loves to learn new words. She is also only happy when she has shoes on, and everyone around her has shoes on, she just loves shoes.
